Opening reception: Demado Project Vol.3 "Conversation with Mr. H"

「HRD事務所＋寺島スタジオ＋自宅」の出窓ギャラリーで美術作家・栗原亜也子さんの作品を展示します。
オープニングを３月１日（火）の午後５時３０分からしますので、ぜひお越し下さい。
作家の栗原さんもミキちゃんと一緒に横浜からいらっしゃいます。

HRD FINE ARTオフィスに併設された小さなウィンドウ・ギャラリーで昨年から展開しているインスタレーション・プロジェクト〈DEMADO PROJECT〉。
このたび、第3弾として、栗原亜也子による「H氏との対話」を展示する運びとなりました。

展示初日となる3月1日には、作家・栗原亜也子も参加してささやかなオープニング・レセプションを行います。

「H氏との対話」は、栗原亜也子が近年継続して取り組んでいるオセロ・ドローイングのシリーズ「Mind Games」の延長線上に位置づけられるインスタレーション・プロジェクトです。HRD FINE ARTとアーティスト栗原亜也子とが、京都（HRD FINE ARTのオフィス）と横浜（栗原のスタジオ）と、遠隔の2地点間でオセロゲームの対戦を行います。Facebook上のやりとりを通じて進行するゲームの盤面を栗原がスタンプ・ドローイングとして日々更新し、ゲーム終了後にはその対戦記録でもある完成したドローイングをDEMADO PROJECTにて展示します。

オセロの対戦は2011年1月14日にスタートし、2月末まで進行します。
ドローイングの展示期間は3月1日～6月1日です。
※ウィンドウ・ギャラリーでの展示のため、オープニング・レセプション時を除き通常は外からのみ作品をご覧いただく形式となります。

HRD FINE ART is pleased to announce the 3rd project exhibition for "DEMADO CONTEMPORARY ART PROJECT" titled "Conversation with Mr. H" by artist Ayako Kurihara, a work-in-progress attempt to integrate the web gallery and the real exhibition.

Kurihara, who lives in Yokohama, plays the game of 'Othello' (or 'Reversi') with the director of HRD Fine Art in Kyoto with the help of the internet, and the progress of the play between the two remote place is recorded by the artist as a kind of stamp-drawing. The resulting drawing will be exhibited at Demado Project, the window gallery of HRD Fine Art's office from March 1st through to June 1st.
The game has already been launched on January 14th, 2011, and it will be terminated at the end of February or when the board has been filled up.
